About

Don’t go ahead IF you can’t read Bengali; or, even if you can,  IF you don’t dig memoirs — the sixty-year-old ramblings of a more than middle-aged man; or, given that you can and dig, IF you abhor ancient tales of a small town in the backwaters of West Bengal.

This is about a small boy, a Peter Pan of sorts, growing up despite himself in a one-horse town, and facing a new wonder each day — wonders that he never found in the hapless world of the grown ups.

Go ahead, if you will.
